Pradeepan has played a critical role in protecting vulnerable children through the CHILDLINE 1098 Project (May 2012 – August 2023) and other child-focused initiatives across Betul district. Our work spans rescue, rehabilitation, legal support, awareness campaigns, and systemic intervention.

Key Interventions
- Missing Children: 522 missing children traced with RPF, GRP, and police support, and safely reunited with families through the District Child Welfare Committee.
- Shelter & Care: Temporary shelter provided to 320 distressed children; 20 abandoned newborns placed in Shishu Griha as per CWC orders.
- Protection from Sexual Abuse: 455 cases of child sexual abuse and molestation addressed through rescue, counselling, legal support, and access to compensation under the MP Crime Victim Compensation Scheme (₹2–4 lakh per survivor).
- Child Labour: 615 child labourers rescued from hazardous work (brick kilns, hotels, sugarcane fields, scrap collection) and rehabilitated through education.
- Bonded Labour: 15 child bonded labourers rescued through a district-level task force and rehabilitated with families.
- Begging: 289 children rescued from begging at bus stops, railway stations, and public places.
- Domestic Violence: 306 children protected from domestic abuse through family counselling and legal awareness.
- Child Marriage Prevention: 434 child marriages prevented through coordination with the Women and Child Development Department and Police.
- Anti-Trafficking: 122 trafficked girls rescued and rehabilitated.
- POCSO Act Awareness: Conducted in 868 schools, 35 colleges, and 125 hostels, reaching 85,000 children and youth.
- Child Labour Awareness: Reached nearly 300,000 people across 550 villages over 12 years.
- National Girl Child Safety Day: Programmes organized every year since 2012, reaching 15,000 girls.
